Honey Maple Farms

Focused on Genetics: Preserving the past...creating the future.

Welcome to Honey Maple Farms

Welcome to Honey Maple Farms!

The idea that has become Honey Maple Farms began in the year 2000 with a small maple sugaring operation. We have since added some small farm animals- goats, rabbits, chickens and ducks. Then in 2018, we decided to purchase some alpacas as pets. We absolutely fell in love with these beautiful creatures and have expanded our alpaca operation to become a large breeding farm. Now we are also experimenting with bee keeping! Lots going on at our farm!!

Although we are now a large Suri farm, we want to maintain a small farm feel to what we do!
First and foremost, we strive to raise healthy, well adjusted animals that are comfortable with people. We personally care for and interact with each of our animals every day.
Second, we are real, down to earth people who love to get to know our clients and customers. We enjoy learning about YOU and sharing our experiences so that we can learn together about these awesome animals. We are always available to help and support you with your animal needs, whether you buy them from us or not!
Last and most importantly, we will treat you fairly and respectfully. We know that there are many different opinions on how best to run a farm. We also realize that our clients will all have different financial situations. We will meet you where you are and do our best to help and support you with your farm and animal goals!

We are honored to be a Top 10 Finalist in the Suri Large Herd category in 2024!!

H & S Independence "Indi" is still at our farm for the 2024 breeding season! Now is the time to take advantage of adding his spectacular genetics to your herd, before he heads back to Montana!! Give us a call to schedule your breeding soon!

**FALL 2024 UPDATE**
We are very excited to get Indi's, boy Declaration by Independence, "Decker," in the showring this fall at the Buckeye Fall Fest. This boy is something special! Decker got off to a slow start in the show ring, having tender fleece his first year, BUT, we chose to leave his 2nd fleece on for the 2024-2025 shows and he is spectacular! Decker is a great example of the type of offspring Indi is producing. Of course it wouldn't be possible without a fantastic dam, too! Angeldreams Kalligraphy has certainly solidified her place in our foundation herd. She has produced TWO FANTASTIC offspring for us and out of different sires. Her 2024 female cria, Honey Maple's Keira (by Cinch of Pines Edge), is one to watch! We can't wait to get her out in front of the judges in 2025, so she can WOW them!!

We are also excited to get Maxx MacGyver's very last son, Honey Maple's Maxxson, out to show this fall! We had planned to leave him in full fleece as a yearling, but he got too stressed by the heat over the summer, and we had to shear him later than we would have normally. None the less, his second fleece is coming on nicely and he has amazing luster and handle! We really just want to see what the judges have to say about him!!
