Winter is finally winding down and show season is upon us again. We were very excited to be attending our first AOA National Show this year. Unfortunately, an unexpected illness the week before nationals forced us to cancel our plans. What a disappointment! As the year comes to a close and winter is settling in, it is a good time to reflect on the whirlwind of activity that has taken place on our farm this year. We doubled our herd size over the past 12 months and added some FANTASTIC genetics to build on! We built a new building to house our males, added a shed area to our main barn, and cleared more land for pastures. We welcomed 13 new crias to our herd and made our first alpaca sales. 2021 has been a year of great opportunity for us at Honey Maple Farms!
