We sadly said goodbye to our matriarch, Lucy on March 18. She lived 18.5 years and spent her past (almost) 3 years at Honey Maple Farms, where she raised her last cria (Luna) and enjoyed her "retirement." Lunar Eclipse (Luna) is a beautiful medium brown girl..or is she turning rose grey? Time will tell! Luna is a nice female out of our appy, Condor's Lucy and grey sire, Ghost Ryder. Lucy is a larger female and Luna is definately taking after her mom.

Luna is developing a nice, fine and lustrous fleece with very good length already at 6 months. She has a flat lock style and such beautiful drape. We love to watch those Suri locks flow as she runs!

Luna is a half-sibling to 2020 Suri Network Grey Color Champion Ghost Ryder's Armor! She has the genetic ability to produce grey and/or appy. At 1 year old, she is starting to exhibit some grey tips on her ears! We can't wait to see how she develops!

Luna is the last cria (to our knowledge) of Ghost Ryder who passed away in August of 2020. We are proud to own 3 of his 4 offspring here at Honey Maple Farms. What a great legacy for us to build on!!
