*****************************************************************
Frazier was another long-awaited cria at Honey Maple Farms but when he finally arrived 3 weeks late, we were ready for him! Although he had plenty of spunk, Frazier was a bit of a slow starter in the eating department, which is how he got his name. Every time he got up to nurse, he would almost immediately afterwards fall down and rest..he seemed so exhausted by the whole thing! So, we started to say, "Down goes Frazier!"..a reference to the legendary boxing match between Joe Frazier and George Foreman. It took a little while for him to figure things out, but Frazier is doing just fine now. This boy is very independent and loves to play with the other crias!
Frazier's dam, Hopi, sports a very lustrous, dense fleece (63.8 % on biopsy) with Top 5 % EPD's in 5 categories and his sire is none other than 3X champion BBFAI Mont Alejandro, who is producing absolutely fabulous crias! Mont Alejandro's 2019 daughter, Goldyn Rae's Yara, won Supreme Light Champion at the AOA National Show in 2020!
Frazier is developing very fine and dense fleece himself. He is another of our boys with incredibly wrinkled skin and he exhibits that "classic" Alejandro look that is stamped on all of his crias!
This genetic combination looks very promising! Take a look at his pedigree!
We are watching this little guy's development closely. We think he will be a good one!!
