Opal is a super sweet female and very friendly. She is an experienced momma with plenty of milk for her crias. This female has an amazing pedigree with Peruvian Fuego, Mahogany Prince and Kobe of PVA on one side. She has notables: Bruxo, MacGyver, Peruvian Wyldfyre, Jax Crossfire and Sweet Foxfire Jax on the other.

Opal delivered a gorgeous dark brown female sired by our Kahuna's Mondavi on July 3, 2021. This was Mondavi's FIRST cria for us and we were ecstatic that we got a female!!! Her coloring strongly resembles her Champion grand-sire, Peruvian Wyldfyre!!

**2026**
We are so thankful to be able to welcome Opal BACK to our herd! She has been used as a therapy animal for the past few years, due to her extraordinary personality and calm demeanor. She was a favorite of ours from day one, but we knew with her personality, she was called to another purpose, so we were willing to let her go. The therapy farm folks have now retired, and she is coming back to us!!

Opal has a special place in our hearts, as she is the granddaughter of Pines Edge Sierra Gold, who we owned for several years, but she has now passed on. We never got a female cria from Sierra, so to welcome a female from her lineage back into our herd, makes us very happy. We would love to keep this genetic line going into the future. They are all just beautiful animals, and they have wonderful personalities!!

We plan to put Opal back into production on our farm in Spring 2027, as she has produced some very fine crias in the past, and she still has some good breeding years ahead of her!!
