Lazaro by Lexus (a.k.a Studly) is an excellent herdsire, and we are thrilled to have him here at Honey Maple Farms/ICONIC Suri Alpacas! He had top 1% EPDs in 3 categories 2 years in a row and is still holding strong in the Top 2-5 %. He had top 1% EPDs in 3 categories 2 years in a row and is still holding strong in the Top 2-5 %. He is a conformationally correct male with good substance of bone and still exhibiting great density and luster at over 8 years old!! We have both male and female crias from Lazaro, and we absolutely love them! We are seeing fine, dense fleeces with amazing independent locks and LUSTER, on his offspring. Their regrowth after their first shearing has been impressive, and keeps getting better with time! Also important to us--Lazaro's crias have a wonderful, easy-going temperament! You can't always find that combination--great fleece, conformation AND personality!! We were excited to enter one of his first crias (Masada) in 3 fleece shows in 2020. Her fleece showed very well against some great competition! She earned 2 advanced fleece awards for scores over 80 points, which is fantastic! She has gone on to be a great foundation female for us. The genetics of Lazaro are just what we were looking for to bring our fleece production to the next level. As newer owners in the alpaca industry, we were fortunate to have such a great herdsire to start off with, and even more fortunate to be able to use Lazaro with confidence on a wide range of females. He is knocking it out of the park everytime! BIOPSY results: Density 62.8 S/P 12:1 Spread 6.7....very nice!!!! Check out his histogram and EPD! Also check out his Dam's histogram and EPD at age 12!!! Crown Royale line crossed with Kahuna line. Perfection!! We also now have Lazaro's son, Best of Luxe, working in our herd....and he is producing more of the same... Like father, like son!! AND soon we hope to get another AMAZING son, Jairus, started in production. His fleece is out of this world! We are expecting 2 crias from Lazaro, crossed with new bloodlines (Accoyo Kaden,) in late summer 2026. The wait is too much!!

**DESCRIPTION BY PREVIOUS OWNER** Gidget is sired by PCAF Accoyo Kaden and is his last offspring so a very valuable female to be sure. Her dam was the stunning Mahart Gisele that gave us her best each year. We definitely miss both parents as they were amazing in so many ways! Gidget's golden fleece is superior and she did well as a nine month old with her perfect conformation at the CABA Classic/AWE Events in May of 2021and 2022. Gidget produced a stunning Jamayo cria on 07/01/23. She is an excellent mom! _____________________________________________________________________________________ We are just ecstatic to welcome this beautiful girl into our herd! She has an amazing pedigree and amazing fleece. We think she will pair well with several of our herdsires and we are very excited to have her working in our herd! **SEPT 2026** Gidget's much-anticipated cria has arrived!! She was a few days early, but her cria is just PERFECT! We decided last fall, to try to pull out the light genetics in her pedigree, and pairing her with one of our best males, Lazaro, was a great decision! Their cria was born at a robust 15#. He had tons of soft rolling skin...now turning into wrinkles upon wrinkles. His fleece has beautiful luster and he has an amazing suri head! We will keep a close eye on this one...he just may be another sleeper, like his half-brother, Jairus, and knock our socks off in about 6 or 7 months!!

This amazing boy was a bit of a color mystery at first, but at 2 weeks old, we have decided he is beige. Not quite dark enough to be light fawn. The darker "patches" on his ears and neck are evening out and are not quite so noticable, but who knows? He may surprise us!
Gatsby is the product of two very lovely genetic lines. His sire, Lazaro, carries the genetics of Kahuna, Viho, Crown Royale, and Miguel. His dam, Gidget, brings Kalvin, Torbio, Macgyver and Bruxo to the mix.
Gatsby is very promising, even at his young age, with solid body conformation and a lovely suri head. He was born with softly rolling skin, which is now becoming rows and rows of wrinkes. He also has a soft and silky fleece with great luster!
We can't wait to see if his fleece turns out like his paternal brother, Jairus'. I guess we'll know in about 6 months!
This energetic guy is now the "leader" of the fall crias! He loves to zoom around and always gets the other boys to race with him. Clearly, he is living up to his fun-loving name!
