Foundation Suri Alpacas

Goldyn Rae's Masada is a BIG female out of Blue Ginger and GVSA Lazaro. Masada was born at a whopping 26.25 pounds! She is a big girl with a sold frame that is developing a very nice fleece. Dam Blue Ginger exhibits a lustrous and fine fleece, maintains excellent fiber stats and sports TOP 2-5% 2019 EPDs in the first FOUR fiber categories. With her sire LCA Huckleberry de Latah, 2012 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year, Blue Ginger is a complete package with her superb genetics. She has produced outstanding offspring, including female Nazca who recorded a 72 Density and knockout Fibonacci (Limited Edition son). Sire Lazaro is a stellar Kahuna's Lexus son who logged TOP 1% EPDs in 2018 and 2019. Masada is a GENETIC POWERHOUSE! _______________________________________________________ *UPDATE* Masada has developed a beautiful fine, dense fleece which has shown exceptionally well against some very good competition in 2020. She earned 2 advanced fleece awards (Suri Network and PAOBA fleece shows) for scores over 80 points--very impressive!! In addition, she has one of the most friendly dispositions of all our girls. We are so happy to have Masada in our foundation herd and we are expecting good things from her!! **April 2022** Check out a newly found picture of Masada's Dam, Huckleberry's Blue Ginger. I had not seen her dam in full fleece previously, but wow, this picture is stunning. (I also did not know that Blue Ginger won a Championship at CABA in 2012--That explains a LOT!) Masada looks JUST like her..in white! Also attached is a picture of her sire, Lazaro, who is still exhibiting great density and luster. Masada is one of those females that keeps getting better with time. Her fleece is very lovely at almost 3 years old. She continues to produce good staple length, luster and her fleece is oh so soft and cool to the touch. She is one of our favorite girls!! *August 2025* Masada was bred to the one and only El Dorado Playboy, for what should certainly be a fantastic cria in 2026!!! Masada is a large boned female with fabulous fleece, as evidenced by her 2 Advanced Fleece awards for scores over 80. Playboy is really putting out some fantastic crias and we are excited for this pairing!!

Connemara (Conne) was another rare find for us at Honey Maple Farms! She comes from a line of fantastic genetics and should contribute nicely to our herd. Conne is a big, inquisitive girl and a great mom! Conne's 2018 daughter, Ultima, is a beautiful girl out of Mont Alejandro. Conne delivered a BIG male cria, with very wrinkled skin, on 6/8/2020 from Ssilken's Accoyo Loar. Loar sports some very nice EPD stats! Gaelic Loar (Gael) of HMFS is exhibiting a ton of very dense fleece already. He was over 50 lbs. at only 2 1/2 months old! Now over 80 lbs. at 5 months! We feel he is going to be an amazing male for us in the future!! *JUNE 21 ,2021 UPDATE* Conne delivered yet another large, DENSE, male cria today from 5X Champion Pine's Edge Way To Go. This is his first male cria to date, Celtic Valor, and his fleece feels and looks amazing!! **July 2022** Conne and Sammy have produced a gorgeous male cria for us! Welcome Jameson!! Sammy has incredible density..76.8 follicles/mm.. and is still producing beautiful fleece at 4 years old. His EPD stats are top notch as well! We were looking forward to this cria with great anticipation. Madiba X Belmonte genetics...WOW! What a pedigree for this little guy!!! Conne has proven 4 times now, that she is a fantastic producer for us. Each of her 4 of her offspring to date has incredible density and wonderful conformation...ALL with different sires. We think she is a keeper!! **6/4/26** Conne delivered our FIRST cria out of El Dorado Playboy..and it's a GIRL!! We were fortunate to be able to lease Playboy (from California) in 2025, and we are expecting 4 more crias later this summer. Well, we started off with a BANG! This female is very promising..perfect wedge head and correct ear set, strong conformation, straight legs and just a ton of cuteness!! Her fleece is shining and she is loaded with wrinkled skin, which I love to see. I could not be happier with the results of this combination of genetics...Madiba, Kahuna, Spirit Dancer, and Ch'aska!

Creases all up her neck, so her density should be awesome. She was awarded 1st place at GWAS and RMAS on April 30/May 1.....AND Kalli was awarded Reserve Color Champion in the Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showdown!!!! Kalli finished up the spring shows with TWO MORE BLUE RIBBONS..at the CABA Classic and AWE shows on May 7-9th!!! She made us so proud! Way to go, pretty girl!!! **SUMMER 2022** Kalli presented us with a gorgeous little dark brown male from her pairing with H & S Independence (Indi). This boy has it all...Luster, Lock, Handle, personality! We were so impressed with him that we decided to pursue part ownership in Indi! Kalli sure held on to her cria for a LONG time...as a maiden, she birthed at 374 days! But, when Decker was born, he was just perfect! *AUGUST 25, 2024* Kalli gave us a STUNNING dark female from her pairing with Cinch. This is exactly why we brought Kalli into our program at Honey Maple Farms! This combination of genetics is helping us to raise the bar in our breeding program and we are gratified to see the outcome of our planning!! **Summer 2025 news**-- Kalli is breeding to Raynay's Onyx of Peyton for a 2026 cria!! We are really looking forward to this pairing and we can't wait to hopefully see her knock another one out of the park! Kalli has proven to be a superior stud female for our black program, and we can't say enough about what she is producing for us!!

This little female was shining from the moment she was on the ground! She wasn't even dry yet and I could already tell she was going to be very lustrous. American Shine is a lovely girl out Domenica and Revie. Domenica, our Crown Prince daughter, has beautiful, dense and lustrous fleece, so she gets it naturally! Sire, Pival Son's Revelation, is producing crias with very nice density and all around awesome fleece! This combination seems to have been a pretty good one so far. We look forward to watching our little Shine---shine!! *AUGUST 2021 UPDATE* WOW! WOW! WOW! American Shine continues to impress! She is developing lovely draping locks with incredible 'wet' luster! We are so excited to see how she continues to change each month...we'll be keeping a close eye on this beauty!!! **January 2022** American Shine continues to develop her beautiful fleece! Check out her updated pictures from 1/9/22. She has tons of "greasy", cool and lustrous fleece at 7 months old. We think she is a keeper!! **November 2022** Well, it was definitely her "shine" that put her at the top of her class at the Buckeye Fall Fest Nov 4-6, 2022! Judge Helen Testa appreciated her fleece regrowth , lock style and ESPECIALLY her luster as she was awarded a blue ribbon. We are so proud of our beautiful Shiny Girl! **March 2023** Shine had a fantastic show season in 2023!! It is too bad that there was not more competition for her, though. However, at the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree, several judges remarked that Shine had the best fleece they had seen in that particular show. What great comments!! She has fleece that absolutely shines and has good locking from skin to tip, while maintaining good consistency of traits across the fleece. **April 2025** Shine is ready for her first big date this year....and the lucky boy is PLAYBOY!! This pairing will bring together so many fantastic fleece traits and I am SUPER EXCITED about this "criation!"

*AS DESCRIBED BY PREVIOUS OWNERS* Cymbaline is out of a stellar Mont Blanc daughter and by the multiple Judge's Choice sire, USA Peruvian Jeremiah. Both sire and grandsire are Judges Choice winners. She has "Baby" fine fleece and ranked TOP 1% Mean Staple Length. It's not just that she has dense fleece, but she grows it quickly too! Cymbaline has been shown very lightly, but with good success. Her award-winning pedigree is enough to take her to the next level in the breeding barn. ___________________________________________________ Cymbaline possesses some fantastic genetics that we have had our eyes on for some time now. We are so happy to have found this female and are looking forward to what she will bring to our breeding program!! **May 2025** We have decided that Cymbaline is well overdue for cria on our farm, so she had her first big date with Playboy!! Cymbaline has good substance of bone; she carries lingering fineness to her fleece, with a soft handle and good density. Playboy has excellent substance of bone, amazing luster and very nice density himself. We are certain that this pairing will produce something amazing!

When I saw the first picture of this beauty...I was absolutely smitten! She has thick, dense fleece with great coverage, lovely head and body style, and correct proportions on a well-balanced frame. I was so surprised to find Beauty, since I was just browsing around, but I absolutely knew I wanted to add her to our herd!! She has some older genetics in her pedigree, that are becoming harder to find, including Inca and Helios, so of course that was important to me as well. Beauty continues to impress us with her fleece regrowth year after year. She is maintaining fineness, a soft handle and decent lock structure for her age! We are very excited about the cria she is carrying, bred to El Dorado Playboy! We have one Playboy cria born this year and 4 more on the way. If the remiaining crias are as nice as the first, we will be sooooo pleased!! He really was a great choice for us to lease last summer!!

I discovered Rose Marie when I was looking at her grey male offspring. After reviewing his pedigree, and seeing pictures of Rose, I decided that I would like to add HER to our herd instead! What a find for us!! Rose Marie brings in the impeccable genetics of Goldstar, with a silver twist through her dam, Silver Dollar. This will give us LOTS of options as we look forward to many years of production in our herd from Rose. The icing on this cake is the fact that Rose is bred to Mykonos, a fabulous male with incredibly density, out of the Goldyn Rae program! I have had my eye on Mykonos for many years. Check out his biospy information attached in the pictures section. He may be one of the best kept secrets out there! Myk is just getting started in his breeding career and we are really happy to have the opportunity for one of his crias on our farm in 2026!! We have some exciting herdsires to choose from, on our own farm, for Rose's next cria, as well!!

Gaia is the product of two powerhouse parents, and we are honored to bring her into our herd! Dixie and Tikanui have teamed up 6 times, and out of those pairings came 4 multi-champions: Zen -- 7X Champion, with 2 Judges Choice Awards at The Futurity and MOPACA in 2017 Kalee -- 5X Champion and was awarded AOA Supreme Champion Light Female and Futurity Judges Choice in 2021. Venus -- 5X Champion and 2018 AOA National Supreme Champion Light Female Saturn -- 3X Champion. Dixie also has 2 other multi-champion offspring, Bright Charm--3X Champion, and High Stakes--3X Champion. Tikanui has too many other Champion offspring to list!! Gaia may not have the show accolades of her full-siblings, but she has got the right formula for greatness! She has a lovely head and a commanding presence about her. It makes you stop and take notice! Her fleece is soft and slick, and she sports a heavy boned frame with correct proportions. She was bred in late 2025 to Electrofyre's Cosmic Dust and we think this outcome is going to be spectacular!!
