Gaelic Loar (Gael) is a BIG, lovely male and he gets it from both sides of his pedigree...Mom, Connemara, is one of our larger females, and sire, Loar, is a larger male as well. Gael weighed well over 20 lbs. at birth and has not slowed down. He was over 50 lbs. at 2 1/2 months old and over 80 lbs. at 5 months!! Gael's genetics are outstanding! Mom is a PureSuri Madiba daughter and champion sire, Loar, is the son of White Shadow. Check out Loar's impressive EPD's..still in the top 5% in 5 categories at 10 years old! And Gael looks just like his dad did as a juvie!! These genetics are a great combination! **June/July 2021 Update** Gael had his first fleece shorn on June 4th. WOW is it beautiful! He was getting matted, so not able to be sent to the summer fleece shows, but his fleece is gorgeous. Check out the pre-shear picture just added to his profile...the density is there, the sheets of locks are well developed, and the luster (harder to see in the photo) is very nice! Blanket weight = 4.2# Total weight = 6.6# *February 2022* What a difference a year makes!!! Gael continues to impress us with his fleece growth! Lots of independent locking, corkscrew curls and fantastic DENSITY! His family tree is packed with great genetics and great fiber! He is a well-grown yearling and has really "grown into his body" over the past year. Looking very good heading into the spring!! Sure hope we can get him back in the ring for another look this year!! We think he is pretty special!! ________________________________________________________ **November 2022--GREAT NEWS!!* Gaelic Loar was awarded a blue ribbon AND Reserve Color Champion at the Buckeye Fall Fest!! We were really excited to get this guy back into the show ring this year. Judge Arturo Pena appreciated his luster and lock style, density and overall conformation. We are very proud of this boy!! While he didn't exactly "shine" as a juvie, we had faith that he would continue to develop, based on what we were seeing in his regrowth after shearing and as his body continued to develop....and we were right!! **Feb 2023** Gael really surprised us at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration when he brought home the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP!!! The judge loved his shining luster, density and overall uniformity of locks on his well-grown and correct frame. Gael continues to impress us and we are very proud of him!!! **March 2023** Gael had a great show at the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree in Harrisburg, PA! 4 blues, 1 red and Walking Fleece Champion for the Empire Alpaca Show!!! Lazaro by Lexus (a.k.a Studly) is an excellent herdsire, and we are thrilled to have him here at Honey Maple Farms/ICONIC Suri Alpacas! He has excellent EPD's and has produced some stunningly beautiful crias! Wonderful dispositions, dense and lustrous fleece-- you can't go wrong with Lazaro! He had top 1% EPDs in 3 categories 2 years in a row and is still holding strong in the Top 2-5 %. He is a conformationally correct male with good substance of bone and still exhibiting great density and luster at over 8 years old!! We have both male and female crias from Lazaro, and we absolutely love them! We are seeing fine, dense fleeces with amazing independent locks and LUSTER, on his offspring. Their regrowth after their first shearing has been impressive, and keeps getting better with time! Also important to us--Lazaro's crias have a wonderful, easy-going temperament! You can't always find that combination--great fleece, conformation AND personality!! We were excited to enter one of his first crias (Masada) in 3 fleece shows in 2020. Her fleece showed very well against some great competition! She earned 2 advanced fleece awards for scores over 80 points, which is fantastic! She has gone on to be a great foundation female for us. The genetics of Lazaro are just what we were looking for to bring our fleece production to the next level. As newer owners in the alpaca industry, we were fortunate to have such a great herdsire to start off with, and even more fortunate to be able to use Lazaro with confidence on a wide range of females. He is knocking it out of the park everytime! BIOPSY results: Density 62.8 S/P 12:1 Spread 6.7....very nice!!!! Check out his histogram and EPD! Also check out his Dam's histogram and EPD at age 12!!! Crown Royale line crossed with Kahuna line. Perfection!! We also now have Lazaro's son, Best of Luxe, working in our herd....and he is producing more of the same... Like father, like son!! AND soon we hope to get another AMAZING son, Jairus, started in production. His fleece is out of this world! We are expecting 2 crias from Lazaro, crossed with new bloodlines (Accoyo Kaden,) in late summer 2026. The wait is too much!!

**August 2021 UPDATE** Cinch is really surpassing our expectations in the fleece arena!! He was awarded 1st place in the Black Adult Male category at the 2021 Suri Network Fleece Show in July. AND on August 7, 2021 Cinch was awarded 1st place and the Spirit of the Industry Award at the PAOBA Fleece Show!!! He also scored a total of 80 points, which earned him an Advanced Fleece Award! CONGRATULATIONS CINCH!!!! At 4 years old, he is still exhibiting beautiful luster, uniformity of micron across his blanket, well defined locks and a good amount of density. ****************************************** Take a good look at this guy and book a breeding now! This male is just gorgeous! His luster is VERY nice (he shines!) and HE HAS DENSITY!! Cinch has a lot to offer any farm breeding for black or even grey. His dam is a multi award-winning female out of the GLR program. She has great potential for passing down grey genetics from her pedigree! We plan to use Cinch for both black and grey production and we have brought in some select females just for him! Cinch is a wonderful, easy male to handle and is able to settle females without difficulty. CINCH is deep, true black and he has strong black and gray genetics in his pedigree. His dam, Korinna, a GLR Rastamon daughter, was Res Champion at MAPACA, Futurity and GWAS and her dam Kokolatte is a National Gray Champion. Add Goldstar's Vader on the top and you have Accoyo genetics including Goldstar, Rockstar and Jackpot. Cinch is exhibiting the same beautiful lock style as his multiple champion half brother, Uproar, with high luster and fineness. His micron, at 16 months, remains at 19! Cinch has excellent wave and twist lock structure, consistent across his blanket with good density.

Here he is...our foundation herdsire Lazaro's first male offspring and he is beautiful! Best of Luxe is just what his name implies..luxurious fleece that is getting nicer and nicer over time. Luxe is another of our boys we will be watching with anticipation. He should be a good one! Luxe was a nice sized boy at 19.8 lbs. He is developing a very dense, fine and lustrous fleece. Mom, Lyra, is a Hanapepe (Kahuna) daughter and sire, Lazaro--a Kahuna's Lexus son, is a product of the Kahuna AND Crown Royale lines. He holds top 1% EPDs in 3 categories!! This guy was destined to be luxurious! Luxe is so very touchable and we love to see his flowing locks as he runs with the other crias...so entertaining and beautiful to watch. Luxe is a full-sibling to our beautiful girl Lydia (sadly deceased). Lydia was a promising young female with loads of extremely dense fleece. See her picture under Luxe's profile. He is also half-sibling to Masada. The offspring of Lazaro are consistently showing very nice fleece characteristics! UPDATE--MAY 2021 Luxe placed 3rd and 4th at MAPACA Gala/Jubilee in a VERY competitive class of white juvie males. The judges loved his beautiful luster and density, commenting that all the males in the class were packing on an impressive amount of fiber for their age. We feel that he had a very solid showing and will continue to watch this boy develop! **JULY 2024 Update** Luxe has his first cria on the ground now and he is a beauty! We are VERY pleased with the result of pairing LUXE with Buttermilk. Their cria got the best of both parents' traits and we are anxiously watching him grow. We are just thrilled to have the opportunity to own this fabulous boy! He is standing opposite our seasoned herdsire, Lazaro, and we are proud to announce that Mystic has several offspring on the ground!! His pedigree reads like a Who's Who of the Suri genetic world. His sire, Kanui, has a totally stacked pedigree including 4X Judge's Choice and 2015 Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Wyuna by Chakotah. Add in some Kahuna, Inca, Rockstar, Torbio, Ramilo..and you get a true genetic powerhouse! Kanui himself is a 4X Champion who has also won Judges Choice, Best Hand and Best Lock for his fleece! His dam, Sierra Gold, also has an outstanding pedigree which contains some of the strongest bloodlines in the industry... Bruxo, Lethal Weapon, Sweet Foxfire Jax, Uribe, Jax Crossfire and a bit of Macgyver. She is a high quality female, producing several champion quality crias (including Chakota's Joaquin and Futurity winner, Mocha Twist) and we are so excited to welcome one of them to our herd!!! Mystic was never shown, but he doesn't need ribbons to back up his outstanding quality. We are so proud of this boy!! **FEB 2023** Mystic loves the color purple!! He brought home 2 more banners over the weekend in North Carolina! He was Reserve Color Champ (to our Gaelic Loar) in the Carolina Alpaca Celebration. Then, he took the Championship in the Carolina Alpaca Parade!! Both Judges were very impressed with Mystic's luster, density, uniformity of micron and overall correct body frame--remarking about his straight topline and stating that he was the "obvious choice" for his Champion banner. At almost 5 years old, he is displaying these traits very well and we are really excited about his future! **March 2023** Mystic has certainly surpassed all our expectations since our decision to get him into the show ring as an adult male!! He ended up his first and only year in the show ring with 3 more banners at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee shows in Harrisburg. We cannot say enough how proud we are of him and his accomplishments!!

MacGyver, Condor, Kolaqua, Shavano, Rastamon, Silver Marquis, Miguel ... and the list goes on and on! ***************************************************** We are so happy to welcome Chief to our herdsire barn at Honey Maple Farms! He is a gorgeous male with a quite impressive pedigree. We love his red-maroon coloring and dark nose/ears. The fact that he has grey in his pedigree is an added bonus! The addition of Chief gives us yet ANOTHER set of genetics to work with and the potential for grey or deep color, whichever we choose to pursue. He is a product of the GLR program, which has produced some AMAZING animals, and we are really looking forward to what he will bring to our herd and fleece production. **JUNE UPDATE** Chief has arrived at Honey Maple Farms and all we can say is WOW!!! His coloring is even more gorgeous in person, and the LUSTER ....OH MY! We cannot get enough of this boy!! He has great conformation and substance of bone, and he carries himself with great presence, as if to say, "Here I am!" He is special and he KNOWS IT!!! Chief should produce some beautiful crias with our girls!! We have a confirmed pregnancy for Chief-- now we can't wait to see this cria in 2022! **2026 UPDATE** We have not used Chief nearly enough in our breeding program, so we have some plans for him this summer! He has a very lovely dense fleece and a wonderful personality. Be on the lookout for females bred to Chief who may just come up for sale! We will be breeding him specifically to females who have the ability to produce grey!!

This guy has a pedigree to be proud of!! He brings together some of the absolute best genetics and fleece qualities out there, with a large dollop of cuteness on top! He is going to be a future herdsire prospect for us! _____________________________________________________________ **May 2024** Revi was 2nd in his class at the CABA show....then he was moved up to be awarded the Reserve Champion at 10 mos. old! We are so excited for this little one's future both in and out of the show ring!! *FEB 2026 UPDATE* We are anxiously waiting for Revi to fully mature, because he has earned a place in our herdsire barn. His fleece regrowth is just stunning! He has a compact body style, with strong bone, good proportions, and his fleece... the luster is off the charts!! You can see him glowing from far in the distance! We haven't been able to get out to show him off, but he is definitely a male to keep your eyes on! I know we will!! **July 2026** Revi is NOW BREEDING!! He has one confirmed pregnancy underway, and we are expecting great things from that pairing!! Revi is a very compact male and for that reason we will use him on some of our smaller and/or maiden females. He has above average luster and nicely develpoed locks...really lovely!!

Strong genetic fiber potential as a breeder." ___________________________________________________ Late in 2023, we began the process of looking for another black herd sire to cross with our offspring from Cinch of Pines Edge. We are impressed with what Cinch is producing so far, so we wanted a complimentary male to keep improving our black herd. After many conversations, we are really excited to grab the opportunity to co-own Marksman with Knolveston Farm! We had been leaning toward a Sniper son (Sniper is now deceased), with the hope of infusing Sniper's amazing density into our black herd. Marksman will get the chance to prove his stuff starting in 2026, as he starts his breeding career on our farm... can't wait!

Gunnar is a very exciting young male! He has an all-star pedigree, and we think he is going to make a BIG impact in our herd!! His sire, RGSA Dante, is a 7X champion and Judge's Choice winner, out of Goldstar's Vader and Way Too Cool. Dante sports an impressive density of 82.5! His dam, RGSA Beretta, is a 3X Champion and also a Judge's Choice winner....a Sniper daughter out of Durango's Yaquina (who was one of the last breeding Durango daughters in the US.) She is a great producer, and we are glad to have one of her offspring on our farm. Gunnar has really matured nicely over the summer. He is a well-grown, solid male with correct conformation, very nice fleece regrowth and beautiful luster! He was never shown, due to no fault of his own, but he certainly has the pedigree to back up his outstanding potential *2026 UPDATE* Gunnar will be starting his breeding career this spring. WOW! This guy is just amazing! At almost 8 years old, Socrates is STILL carrying nicely pencil-locked fleece with gorgeous luster!! Socrates is a substantial male with correct porportions, and heavy bone. His topline is straight and strong. He has a pleasing head style, perfect bite, and a super sweet personality. He comes right up to say, "Hi!" every day!! We were lucky to find him, and we are not waiting to get him started in our herd!! He is one of the few Belemonte's September Sun Shine male offspring left. We loved our Sammy (his paternal brother), and Sammy's offspring were ALL very nice! We can't wait to continue that legacy with Socrates!!

**DESCRIPTION BY PREVIOUS OWNERS** THE PERFECT HERDSIRE TO IMPROVE YOUR HERD! Multiple judges have stated he is the complete package, the SHIP program confirms his great fiber and conformation! His fiber has a brilliant wet luster with tight independent locks and great consistency. He has perfect confirmation and his head is true to phenotype. Unfortunately for us, he is related to nearly all of our girls. He comes from a long line of champions. His Grandsire is Pival's Blazen Son, the most decorated white suri male (not kept indoors). His sire has won countless fleece shows and even a Spirit of the Industry award. He helped his mother win Produce of Dam at the 2014 Mapaca show in a very competitive field! His great great grand dam, Clara, came over in the last import with a 14.5 micron fiber and produced nothing but beautiful animals.
