Feeling gratified!!

After watching the results of the Suri Network fleece show this past weekend, something occurred to me. I had to go back and check my records to be sure, but then I was elated! Out of all the champions and winners announced, 5 of those animals have direct links to our farm and the genetics we have so carefully selected while building our herd!!

Last summer, we purchased the dam of Grey male champion Knolveston's Necromancer. Goldyn Rae Mystic's Dark Maya delivered another stunning grey male cria in 2024 at our farm.

One of our best producing females, GVSA Accoyo Delilah, is the grand-dam of male Best Luster winner, Shambalah's Thomas.

The sire of reserve champion multi male, Zena's Woodrow Cloudpants is Pucara Pines Edge Kanui. He is one of our best kept secrets in our herdsire barn at Honey Maple Farms for several years and we are now his sole owners!

Two years ago, we made the decision to purchase half interest in H & S Independence. His daughter, Bridget Bardot, in addition to her multiple championships in the show ring, won Best Hand and Best Luster. He continues to produce lovely offspring time and again.

Lastly, this spring we were blessed to be able to bring the genetics of WLK Jamayo to our herd. Jamayo was awarded Suri Dark Herdsire of the Year. We have had one cria born so far, and are expecting 3 more later this summer!

We strive to build our program on solid, proven genetics, with an emphasis on mainting genetic diversity in our herd. We are gratified to see the results of our planning have put us right where we hoped to be!

We are so happy for all of the Suri Network winners! We are also happy to share in just a bit of their pride in what they are producing on their farms with all of those great genetics!
